The story begins with the assassin Zhao Xiao Ren accepting the task of assassinating Jun Mo of Jasmine Villa. In order to get closer to the target, Zhao Xiao Ren pretends to be a bride and marries Jun Mo. They both have ulterior motives. They are perfunctory to each other on the surface but gradually develop feelings in their hearts.
